United States President, Donald Trump, has said Vice President Mike Pence’s Press Secretary, Katie Miller, tested positive for coronavirus.

CNN reports that Miller is now the second White House staff member officially confirmed to have tested positive for the coronavirus this week.

One of Trump’s personal valets had tested positive earlier in the week.

“She’s a wonderful young woman, Katie, she tested very good for a long period of time and then all of a sudden today she tested positive,” Trump said at a meeting with Republican members of Congress.

He clarified that Miller has not come into contact with him but has been in contact with Pence.

Katie Miller is married to Trump’s senior adviser, Stephen Miller.
