The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 21 suspected internet fraudsters in Benin City, Edo State.
The arrests were made on Tuesday by EFCC operatives in Benin, following intelligence reports on the suspects’ alleged involvement in internet fraud.
In a statement posted on its X page, the EFCC confirmed that it recovered 10 luxury cars, laptops, and phones from the suspects.
The commission stated that once investigations are completed, the suspects will be charged in court
