Our already popular free, printable staff paper has been completely redone at higher quality and improved typography and layout than previous versions.

As shown to the right, you’ll find two styles of blank music staff paper – one with larger margins at the bottom and top and more spacing between the staves (10 staves), and the other with minimal margins (12 staves).

These are perfect for a multitude of purposes, whether writing music for a solo instrument, for orchestration, for piano, for music theory classes, or other music scoring needs.

Note that the copyright marks shown in the screenshot examples are NOT on the downloadable files.

Like the above blank manuscript paper, this already popular free, printable staff paper with treble and bass clefs has been completely redone at higher quality and improved typography and layout than previous versions.

As shown to the left, you’ll find two styles of blank staff paper, this time with treble and bass clefs – one with larger margins and spacing between systems (5 systems), and the other with minimal margins (6 systems).

These are great for writing music for piano or using for music theory classes, for example.

Note that the copyright marks shown in the screenshot examples are NOT on the downloadable files.

All of the printable music paper on this page is designed for a printer’s typical default “Portrait” setting using U.S. letter-size paper (8-1/2″x11″).

Printing Tips:

For best results, use your printer’s highest print quality settings and high quality paper. I’ve also found that the PDF format prints the sharpest and most clean, but your own results may vary.

Important Note:

Printers can widely vary, as I’m sure you know. I’ve tested these files with several printers and computers, as well as various printer settings, and they’ve printed just fine with no adjustments needed to printer settings. I welcome feedback as well, so please let me know how these print out for you (and include your printer and printer model, paper, and any other helpful information). Thanks!

Sorry, but I cannot offer individual assistance with your computer and printer – it’s best to check your printer’s manual for assistance if needed.
