Mavin Boss, Don Jazzy, has revealed he almost gave up his hopes for getting Mavin Records to where it is today.
The successful music business tycoon took to his Twitter page hours ago to share a throwback picture of himself and some of his Mavin artistes (both past and present) and also to reveal frustrations almost overruled his ambitions in the early days of Mavin Records if not for his relentless spirit.
He wrote; “Everyone has their goal. I almost gave up on mine in the early days of MAVIN. As you can see in this throwback pic. I looked fed up lol ? . But man had to keep pushing. May you reap the rewards of all your hard work last last o ?? #JustLikeBurna.”

The ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ crooner said the incident happened in the early days of his career.
He stated this on Friday night while making his UK debut on The lateish Show with Mo Gilligan on Channel4.
Davido said,
“I come from a family where it’s like, education, education, business…Overtime [my decision to do music] was like a beef.
“Any show he [my dad] hear I’m performing at, he sends the police. He arrests the fans, promoters. He has a camera watching where I go to.”
The singer performed his hit song ‘Unavailable’ on The lateish Show.
