Davido has revealed all he wanted to be was become a music producer rather than become a music artiste.
The superstar singer made this revelation in a recent interview in the United States where he talked about his music journey. He said while growing up and looking into becoming an established name in the music industry, he only wanted to be the guy behind the scenes, making music productions for artistes. Davido said he started to put that into practice while he was in the University in America as he made sounds that attracted his fellow dormitory occupants.
He said; “I used to make my music on a little laptop, my keyboard, logic and a little mic in my dorm room, it sounded good though. I actually started as a producer, i wasn’t even focusing on being an artiste, i wanted to be the guy behind the scene, pulling the strings, making the sound.”
