The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly defiling a nine-month-old baby in the Railway Ijora Badia area of the state.
Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, told newsmen in Lagos on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, that the case was reported to the Police on Monday at about 10:00 pm by a concerned member of the public.
According to Hundeyin, the suspect allegedly went to the apartment where the baby’s mother laid her on the floor, and quickly went to buy something outside the compound.
