Welcome to the home of Kiowa Youth Football! Indian football participates in the “Youth Prairie League,” covering the rural country town teams from Calhan, Limon, Peyton, Simla, Byers, Ellicott and Elizabeth. Indian football provides youth tackle football for the Elbert county area to include Kiowa, Elbert and Elizabeth. Prairie league football is an 8 man football league and plays on a modified field size that corresponds to amount of kids on the field. We believe that Kiowa football should teach team first selflessness, courage to face adversity and most of all love of the game. Kiowa Football is proud to participate in continuing effort to evolve youth football in the USA through teaching of USA Football Heads-Up Technique. Our tackle program consists of two divisions grouped by age and each has a ball carrier weight limit. Pee Wee Division Age 9-10 weight limit of 100lbs. Midget Division Age 10-12 weight limit of 120lbs.
