MTV Base Presenter Search Audition Dates Revealed!
MTV Base announced recently that their presenter search competition was returning and now they’ve announced the dates and venues for the auditions. Amazing times right? At the end a rising star will be revealed and one person’s life changed forever in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
The vivacious winner will receive a 12-month contract and also get a chance to host MTV Base shows as well as interviewing stars, MC-ing events, attending international awards shows, walking the red carpet, and travelling the continent – all while being an ambassador for MTV Base.

Auditions get underway from 09h00 to 16h00 in each city. Hopefuls wishing to take the opportunity to be part of this exciting campaign need just arrive at the venue and bring their most colourful selves.
The next VJ is expected to have a passion for global and African youth culture and music, be authentic and live life in colour. Previous winners include Sizwe Dhlomo, Fikile Moeti, Nomuzi Mabena, Sandile Ntshingila and last year’s winner Tshego Mosupye.
