Terrorists on Sunday struck at the Oil Village in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State where they abducted a 9-year-old daughter of a farmer.
Although the police were yet to react to the incident, a source told journalists that
“He expressed this, when sympathisers went to his residence after it was learnt kidnappers attacked his residence. “The father who for security reasons, did not want his name, nor that of the victim in prints, said that the hoodlums arrived at their residence at about 11:45 pm Saturday, but left around 1 am, with one of his daughters.”
“The hoodlums said to be a four-man gang, attacked the family residence located in the Oil Village, Chikun a Local Government Area of Kaduna metropolis, and gained access to the compound after scaling the fence through the Kaduna Refinery Quarters fence axis.”
“After two of them entered the compound, they opened the gate for another two to join them.”
“Late Saturday night, they arrived and left early Sunday morning around 1 am. After entering the compound, they tried the back door, they couldn’t get access then they went to the front door and failed again, before gaining access through the window to the room of my 9-year old daughter who they went away with,” the father said.
“He said that he even interacted with one of the invaders through his window, before men of the Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KADVIS) arrived and the kidnappers took to their heels.”
“Later, the Nigerian Army also came with two trucks loaded with officers, before the police also came, so the hoodlums took off,”
