Guardiola however called for a quick resolution of the matter.
City had their case referred to an independent commission in February after being charged with over 100 breaches of financial rules between 2009/2010 to 2017/2018.
The newly-crowned champions unequivocally deny the allegations.
“I will stay next season,” Guardiola told reporters ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Brighton.
