Nigerian veteran Yoruba movie actress Shola Ojo popularly known as ”Ashanti”. An actress who ails from the Southwest part of Nigeria Ogun State celebrate’s her birthday with a heart filled with engulfing expression.

Ashanti while ask in an interview how she feels celebrating her birthday inspite the Covid-19 still in place, responded

“It has been a very overwhelming expression of joy to me to witness this day again on earth. It is something that happens once in every year, I believe birthday is a day when we express our heart felt gratitude to our maker for making us stay alive to see the 365 or more days on earth and also we surviving to this day inspite the pandemic is still a reason to show appreciation to God.

Inspite the birthday joy I am expressing today, I still have to give 100 percent concern to the global pandemic which have really turtured the earth this few days, but I pray God will make it a thing of history for you and I, to leave and tell on this earth, (jokingly say),”God no go shame us” I really appreciate all my fans and my group ANTP mostly auntie Aishat for there support in making my dreams come reality in life.

Hope to still give my best in the film industry locally and internationally, as you all give your best to render your heart felt support towards my career”.
