The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has reported the death of three people after an accident involving a Dangote truck in Epe, Lagos.
According to LASTMA, the truck (with plate number DCG-TM-028) lost control due to brake failure while descending from Ita-Opo.
The out-of-control truck first collided with a tricycle (plate number AGL 442 QC) and a parked Toyota Camry at the Ayeyoro traffic light. It then crashed into the Ayetoro Market Complex.
Tragically, the collision led to the deaths of the tricycle driver and two students from Manpower Technical School. The victims were taken to the mortuary at Epe General Hospital.
This information was confirmed by LASTMA General Manager Olalekan Bakare-Oki in a statement from Taofiq Adebayo, LASTMA’s Director of Public Affairs.
