Two people were killed in Ughelli North, Delta State, following a dispute over revenue collection at Ughelli main market, which is shared by the communities of Iwhreko and Ekiugbo.

One victim, identified as Onome, also known as Oyibo, was reportedly collecting fees from petty traders at the market when he was confronted by unknown individuals. As traders tried to mediate, gunshots were fired.
