A member of the People’s Democratic Party named Mathias Tsado claims that the All Progressives Congress has fallen short of its promise to help 100 million Nigerians escape poverty. According to Mathias Tsado, the APC has only been able to impoverish 50 million Nigerians.

In an interview with Channels Television on Monday, Mathias Tsado said this. According to Mathias Tsado, Nigerians are now aware that conditions have altered since Buhari‘s commitment to abolish poverty in 2015.

Mathias Tsado refuted the assertion made by Bala Ibrahim of the All Progressives Congress that Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has developed a large number of rice growers.

It is significant to note that after the National Bureau of Statistics predicted that by 2022, more than 133 million Nigerians will live in poverty, the discussion over which party was responsible for the country’s rising poverty level gained traction.
