The All Progressive Congress(APC) has launched a counter-attack on the newly sworn-in deputy governor of Bayelsa state, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo as it has secured a Court injunction asking the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate Ewhrudjakpo for alleged certificate forgery.

This is coming days after David Lyon of the All Progressive Congress(APC) was sacked as the state governor and Douye Diri declared winner.

The new suit was instituted at a Lugbe, Abuja court by Benjamin Youdiowei, an APC chieftain in Bayelsa. alleging that Ewhrudjakpo presented a forged NYSC exemption certificate with number 139708 and dated February 2, 1998, to INEC to contest the election.
