Iheanacho was named in the starting line-up by Smith in the 1-1 draw at the Elland Road.

The forward played a key role in Leicester City’s equalising goal scored by Jamie Vardy 10 minutes from time.

The Nigeria international was replaced immediately by Belgium international Dennis Praet after he was hurt in the build-up to the goal.

Smith admitted that the injury does not look good but he still have to wait for the scan test to know the extent.

“It’s too soon. He felt his groin and it didn’t look great, so we’ll have to wait until we get a scan on it,” Smith told LCTV.

Iheanacho has scored two goals in his last three outings for the Foxes.

Leicester City will confront Everton in their next Premier League game on Monday 1st.
