Jihad Analytics’ statistics placed Iraq first, with Nigeria and Syria coming in second and third, respectively.

According to the report, between January and June 2022, Iraq experienced the most terrorist attacks with 337, followed by Nigeria with 305 and Syria with 142.

Jihad Analytics’ information revealed that the majority of the attacks were carried out by the terrorist organizations Boko Haram and ISWAP.

The report is coming against the frequent claims by the Nigerian government that terrorists have been degraded to the barest minimum.

Recall that the Sokoto State Police Command stated that they are looking for the killers of Deborah Samuel, a student at the Shehu Shagari College of Education.

Deborah was brutally murdered by her 200-level classmates for alleged blasphemy in May 2022.

This was following claims that she made a comment on her school’s WhatsApp network that offended her Muslim classmates.

The people that were detained by the police months ago, according to DSP Sanusi Abubakar, the command’s spokesman, were not the main suspects.
