President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to travel to Abidjan to attend the Africa Cup of Nations 2023 final between the Super Eagles and the hosts, Côte d’Ivoire, on Sunday.

The President of CAF, Patrice Motsepe, made this announcement during a media conference in Abidjan on Friday.
The Super Eagles advanced to the final by defeating South Africa 4-2 in a penalty shootout.
The final match between Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire will take place at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe Abidjan, kicking off at 9 pm Nigeria time on Sunday.
Patrice Motsepe also mentioned that he would discuss the possibility of Nigeria bidding to host the FIFA World Cup again with President Tinubu during his visit.
